Drunk Lime Chili chicken breast.
This is a very summer and nice recipe to make, and it is so
delicious to make. Not have to mention that is super easy, simple to make.
Drunk Lime Chili chicken
breast.
Things you need:
1/2 cup of white rum.
1/2 cup of white wine.
7 tbsp of water.
1 cup of lime juice (about 3 to 5 limes)
2 tbsp of fresh orange juice.
1 tbsp chili power or chili flakes.
1 1/2 tbsp crushed jalapeno pepper with 2 cloves of garlic.
1 tbsp salt divided into 1/2 tbsp.
1/2 tsp freshly grounded black pepper.
3 whole chicken breasts with skin on
split in half.
Execute:
In a large bowl mix the lime juice,
orange juice, chili powder or flakes, the jalapeno with the garlic cloves,
white rum, white wine, the water, and the chicken breasts. Mix the chicken
breasts very well cover it well and let it marinate in the fridge for 24 hours.
The next day, pre-heat the oven to 270
degrees, you will know why in a bit. Now get your grill pan if you don’t have a
grill pan just use the largest pan you have. Heat up the grill pan lightly oil it
lay the chicken skin side down cook for about 5 to 7 minutes each side or until
you get a charred grill mark. Place the chicken breasts on a tin foiled tray
cover them and cook the chicken all the way through. Do not serve the chicken
right away keep the chicken covered with the tin foil till the time you serve them.
If you cut the chicken while it’s piping
hot or any meat to be honest all the cooking juices will run out from it and whatever
meat you’re cooking will go bone dry, always let your meat rest it will be much
way juicer, and all the cooking flavors will be go back in it.
Well I hope you get to try out this
recipe and really enjoy it.
