make it whenever I can.
Salmon Tartare with
creamy Avocado Purée base.
Things you need for the purée:
2 ripe avocados.
1 tbsp sour cream.
1/4 tsp salt.
1/4 freshly grounded black pepper.
Juice of 1 lime.
1 Spring onion finely chopped.
Things you need for the tartare:
450 g salmon fillet with its skin removed.
1 small onion finely chopped.
2 tbsp roughly chopped chives.
1 tbsp finely chopped capers.
Zest of 1 lime
1 1/2 tbsp juice of lime.
1/2 tbsp olive oil.
Execute:
The purée: add the avocados, the sour cream, salt, and
pepper in a bowl and use a hand mixer until you get a creamy texture without
any lumps add in the lime juice and the spring onion and fold in. Simple as that
you got your purée.
Now for the tartare
with a knife clean the salmon by removing any greyish parts and cut it in medium
sized cubes. Place the salmon in a bowl and add the lime zest and the juice
with the olive oil, add a pinch of salt to it and mix it gently. Let it
marinate for about 2 to 5 minutes add all the remaining ingredients.
To assemble
it simply just put the avocado purée in a round shaped mold layer the avocado purée first
then add up the salmon tartare just let it sit in the fridge for about 5 more
minutes to set a little bit. Serve it with oven toasted bread.
Very simple and easy way. I hope you enjoy it 😊
