Stuffed Roast Chicken served with roasted Vegetables.
This recipe is one that make you want to gather your family
around the table and enjoy every bite out of it. You can never go wrong with
chicken, specially when the chicken is stuffed and roasted. And this is what
this recipe is about.
Stuffed Roast Chicken
served with roasted Vegetables.
Things you need:
1 whole chicken cleaned.
4 large sized carrots cut at an angle.
4 medium sized potatoes cut long.
2 tbsp salt.
1 tbsp garlic powder.
1 1/2 tbsp 7 spices.
1/2 tsp chili powder.
1/2 tsp of sugar.
1 tbsp honey.
Execute:
Get your chicken ready by removing the extra fat, wash the
chicken and get it dry. Then rub the spices all over the chicken and inside the
chicken, wrap the chicken with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for
at least half an hour.
Now preheat the oven at 300 degrees.
Now let’s get the stuffing ready, in a pot put some olive
oil and throw in the veggies, sauté them for a bit now with the remaining
spices blend you have left pour the honey on it then just couple of tbsp of
water and dissolve the honey, pour it on top of the veggies.
Line your baking tray with tinfoil, stuff the chicken with
some of the veggies and seal it off with half of a lemon, pour some olive oil
on top of the chicken. Cover the chicken with tinfoil put it in the oven for 30
minutes, remove the cover and up the oven temperature to 350 degrees for an
extra 15 minutes and base the chicken with the juices every 5 minutes. At the
end switch from baking and to broil for 5 to 10 minutes to get some color.
Serve up and enjoy.
